Hello everyone!
We hope your December is going great, and you're enjoying the hustle and bustle of the holiday season! 2025 has been an unforgettable year, and we are truly grateful to each one of you for being a part of it. Here are a few tips and some local events to help you plan for the month ahead.
Don't forget to change your AC filter!
Winterize Your Home ❄️
When temps drop into the 30s, don't forget to...
Disconnect hoses (water trapped inside can expand and crack fittings).
Set irrigation timers to “off” on freeze-warning nights so plants and equipment aren’t damaged.
Let faucets drip overnight in vulnerable areas.
Safe Decorating Tips 🎄
A few simple reminders for indoor and outdoor decorating:
Use the correct type of lights for indoor or outdoor areas
Keep cords away from walkable paths
Avoid attaching items to roofs, siding, or gutters
Do not overload outlets or daisy-chain extension cords
Local Holiday Lights ✨
Everyone knows about the St. Augustine Nights of Lights, but have you visited any of these other Jacksonville Holiday Favorites?
Jax Beach Deck the Chairs: Colorful, festive lifeguard chairs right on the beach. Fun for photos and a quick holiday stroll.
ZooLights at the Jacksonville Zoo: See the animals under glowing holiday lights. Festive cheer for all ages.
Blackhawk Bluff Neighborhood (Girvin Rd): Drive through this neighborhood to see over-the-top holiday lights and creative decorations on nearly every house.

Searing the Beef
If you're using a brand other than Pillsbury, adjust time accordingly. If you're only making one package of cinnamon rolls, use ½ cup heavy cream.
Notes

1
Preheat oven to 350F degrees.

2
Spray large baking dish with nonstick baking spray and place cinnamon rolls in.

3
Pour the heavy cream over the top of the cinnamon rolls.

4
If you're adding in the additional ingredients (which I highly recommend!) then evenly distribute the brown sugar over the top of each bun, followed by the butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

5
Place in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.

6
Remove from heat and add icing (that it comes with or the optional can you purchased) on top.

7
Serve immediately.
Instructions
2 tubes store bought cinnamon rolls
1 cup heavy cream
baking spray
Optional: ½ stick butter thinly sliced
Optional: ½ cup brown sugar
Optional: ½ teaspoon cinnamon
Optional: 1 can of cream cheese icing

Soft & Gooey Holiday Cinnamon Rolls
Hannah Workman

These turn out ridiculously soft and fluffy! The heavy cream makes them extra gooey in the center. They’re easy to throw together and feel like a treat without any extra effort. Perfect for anytime you want something warm and comforting!
